Smooth Jazz?
Jazz Noir?

Maybe.... Jazz Soir?

The Sarto klyn V is in fact not V (5). It is one. One is I, Ian 'Fergo' Ferguson. And here is a bit about me.

Music mad for as long as I can remember. From the early years listening to the Wombles, to whatever is now playing in the car, there has been a mass of music in my life. From the open D chord on my first guitar, to boxes with wires attached to the computer, I've always been creating for better or for worse.

From playing bass for the school band "Sound Advice", to working in a Cardiff (Wales UK) recording studio with the likes of McLusky and Mohobishopi, I have immersed myself in various ventures over the years.

The SKV was conceived in the Spring of 2016, as saxophone parts met sequenced tracks, tempos shifted and piano pieces were adapted. The result is available on the listen page. I hope you enjoy it.
